BPI was founded by Ole M. Hansen in Copenhagen in 2003 – Ole is an entrepreneur with many years of experience within the meat industry.
Ole started BPI with an ambition to create a company with a great atmosphere and ability to create trusted partnerships all over the world while being able to deliver the best products at the best prices.
Ole’s vision has become reality and since the foundation in 2003, BPI has grown steadily and now employs approximately 80 people worldwide and the turnover is +1 billion Dkk.
BPI is represented in most parts of the world and has a strong position on the market both in retail, wholesale and bulk trading.
The headquarters is placed in the northern part of Copenhagen in an old, renovated farm called Holmegården with plenty of space and good facilities.
Back in the days, Holmegården was the home of many agricultural activities and now foodstuff is traded all over the world from this place.
